All Going My Way vans are equipped with a mobile telephone. This will ensure direct communication from the van to parents and Going My Way's home office. Parents are to contact the home office with any messages or instructions. If there is to be any contact with the van, the Going My Way home office will do this. The driver will then contact the parent or guardian at the given phone number. No parent is to contact the van directly. This will alleviate the driver receiving numerous calls, which would interfere with them doing their job. This service will allow parents to know where their children are, and able to make contact with their children. All mobile phones are to be used for emergency and business contact with the home office only.

All drivers of Going My Way are expected to perform in a professional manner at all times. Going My Way drivers are expected to abide by all company policies. Drivers will be monitored to ensure all policies are adhered to. Going My Way drivers will treat all of their passengers with respect. Going My Way will not tolerate any misbehavior of their drivers toward students they are transporting. If this occurs drivers will be immediately terminated.

This may be the most important policy that Going My Way may perform. It is vitally important that we do all we can to protect our passengers. We will perform a criminal background check and inspect the driving history on all drivers. A private firm has been hired to check employees for misbehavior with children or any other criminal activities. We take this very seriously. Going My Way will not hire any person that is found to have any negative activities. Our goal is to provide safe and courteous drivers to our clients.

Going My Way will provide seat belts for all passengers. Booster seats and car seats will be provided, if needed, at no extra cost. Students are required to wear seat belts while riding on a Going My Way van.
